Powerful Air-mages can also control the static electricity that flows through the air, and harness its power for offensive purposes. Air-mages are also gifted with creating flying spells, as well as those that might hinder or prevent flight all together.
The Air-mage profession dates back to the earliest pages of the history books. During the Age of Elements, there was no spiritual means to manipulating the air. This could only be done in the form of magic. In those times, Air-mages served as both mage and priest. It is still not uncommon to see an Air-mage assume a high ranking position within the religious sect.
