Nydines are Elven creatures with translucent skin, typical hands and feet, and a pair of gills on either side of their torso for breathing underwater. They came into existence as a result of the Great Shattering. They are favored by Kaleith, the God of Water and were crafted into his image. Their skin is delicate, allowing the detail of iridescent scales to be seen beneath the soft flesh. They are the best swimmers, surpassing even the Bolinau. Due to this new form, they aren't very nimble upon land. Nydaen is their natural language, but if given the opportunity to assist with the transformation of a phasing Dragon, that particular Nydine will gain the ability to understand the Elven language and other Elven secrets.
