Aerthane
  • Accepted Races - The Avardi, Gargoyles, Sylphs, Argali, Vukasin, Humans, Gavials, and Bolinaus.

  • Accepted Classes - Air-mages, Clerics, Templars, Hunters, Fighters, and Barbarians.

  • Beliefs and Characteristics - Followers believe in a world without boundaries. Carefree beliefs that can turn violent in an instance if you try to confine them in any way.

Aerthane is often viewed as the most chaotic of the religions, elemental or not. Those that worth the Goddess believe in a world consisting of zero boundaries. To try and confine a follower of Aerthane is to bare witness to their passionate rage that they can spring on you in an instant. An imprisoned follower of Aerthane will more often than not try to take their own life rather than remain caged. To take away one's freedom is to remove their very soul in Aerthane's eyes.

The Aerthanian religion is most often at odds with the Goddess of Earth, Tetherias, and most closely associated with Astraeva and Pyrous. It was Aerthane who went to visit Itzal next (after Pyrous) in the time period leading up to the Great Shattering. Although she was dismissed in the same fashion as Pyrous, she did not go without purpose. In a short amount of time, Aerthane was able to study Itzal's research on not only his new shadow magic, but also that of his discarded light properties. Aerthane quickly discovered the natural balance light had against shadow and together with the other three elemental gods decided to give this counter magic to a mortal being capable of using it for their intended purpose..
