Physical Appearance - The Bolinau are otter-like creatures very much at home along the rivers of Archai and its open seas. They average 4 feet tall, about the same height as Dwarves, though far less stocky. The thick hair on their heads and arms resembles fur, but does not cover their entire bodies. Protuding down over each's lower lip are two square teeth, perfect for assessing the value of gems and metals.
Bolinau Culture - Curiosity and confidence drives them to explore the world in search of treasures, and it is evident in their day to day interests. They have no use in things magical and will oftentimes dismiss it as "slight of hand." Though many do proudly worship their God or Goddess, others have adopted a life more free from the religious zealous, depending more on themselves and others within their crew as opposed to their chosen element. The Bolinau tend to care more about exploration and worldly possessions than political matters. |
